Born and raised in Spokane. Graduated from high school in 1969. Spent 4 years in the Air Force and went into broadcasting after discharge in 1975. Dean has been in the Spokane market since 1982. He is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. When Dean’s not working you will most likely find him on the golf course or watching sports!

It's a million dollar Christmas present. Now, a Southern California family is celebrating their good fortune. Francisco Rios bought two 10-buck scratch-off lottery tickets at a liquor store on Sunday. One was a million-dollar winner. Rios says at first his wife didn't believe they had hit it big. Now, they have the check to prove it. The Rios' accepted their big payout Christmas Eve at a state lottery office.
