It's professional football's championship game. But for a long time the Super Bowl has been more about what takes place before the game, between plays and at halftime than the game itself.  There's the entertaining media vs player moments leading up to the game, the in game commericals that we actually want to watch for a change, the halftime entertainment, the gameday food and of course gambling.

Las Vegas sports books are expecting big crowds for Super Bowl weekend.  Oddsmakers have made the San Francisco 49ers a four-point favorite over the Baltimore Ravens, and they expect betting to be hot and heavy.  There are also proposition bets, such as wagers on overtime and the two-point conversion.  Last year, Nevada sports books collected nearly 94-million dollars in Super Bowl wagers.  They hope to do even better this year while the rest of us can't wait for the funny commercial - we mean the game.
