Three University of Michigan students have developed a new smart phone app designed to keep people from getting behind the wheel after having too much to drink. Its called the "Stay In The Blue" app, and users enter their weight and gender along with drink types. The app then calculates blood alcohol content over a certain amount of time, and the BAC gauge can move from blue, which is below point-zero-six percent and then to various colors which represent levels over Michigan's legal limit of zero-point-eight percent. The app also lists various local taxi information based on zip codes, and is already available on iTunes.
