>>Spokane Indians host Everett Aqua Sox
Without a doubt the Spokane Indians are my favorite team in the NWL. But as a struggling Mariners fan I will take the Aqua Sox as my second favorite. The farm teams for the Texas Rangers and The Seattle Mariners will throw the first pitch at 6:30 at Avista Stadium tonight. My guess is it will be sold out. As of a few days ago - only bleacher seats remained. The nearly 7,000 fans will get to check out many new things at the ball park including many new faces on the team short season single A team. Tonight I'll be there with a microphone in hand. Tomorrow I will be there with an adult beverage in hand!
>>M's Open Series With A's Tonight In Oakland
The Mariners open up a three-game series with the Athletics tonight in Oakland. Joe Saunders will take the mound for the M's. He is 4-and-6 with a 5.12 ERA in 13 starts this season. The A's will counter with Tommy Millone, who is 6-and-5 with a 3.69 ERA.
>>Seahawks Bring Back QB Jackson
I told you yesterday that the Seattle Seahawks were bringing back a familiar face. NFL.com reports quarterback Tarvaris Jackson signed a one-year deal. Tarvaris spent 15 games with the Seahawks in 2011. He threw for over three-thousand yards, 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions that season.
>>Heat Bounce Back With Game Four Win Over Spurs
Two days ago the media said the Heat were done. No everyone is back n the bandwagon. The Heat's Big Three awoke and Miami steamrolled the Spurs 109-93 in Game Four of the NBA Finals to tie the series at two games apiece. In the first three games LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh combined to shoot 42-percent on 133 shots. Thursday night the threesome connected on 37-of-64 attempts and combined for 85 of the Heat's 109 points. Individually, James posted 33 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, while Wade added 32 points with six steals, six rebounds, and four helpers. Bosh had a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards. Tony Parker had an impressive first half and finished with 15 points and nine assists, but was 0-for-4 after halftime in the loss. Tim Duncan scored a team-high 20 points with five rebounds. The crucial Game Five is in San Antonio on Sunday.
